Thanks to the union of complementary experiences, the company provides the customer with a 'turnkey' service, from design to installation, ensuring quality and safety at every stage.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

At Italimpianti, we are convinced that innovation is fundamental to remain competitive and offer customers the best solutions. Although we are a SME, we dedicate significant resources to internal R&D (Research and Development) activities and collaborate with technology partners to experiment with new products and methodologies. Some initiatives and areas of innovation include:

ADVANCED AUTOMATION

Development of increasingly intelligent control systems for industrial plants. We are implementing advanced SCADA supervision solutions and predictive control algorithms, which allow our customers to optimize processes and prevent failures before they occur (predictive maintenance).

Industry 4.0 and IoT

Starting from 2017, we have aligned our skills with Industry 4.0 guidelines, equipping ourselves with specialists in IoT sensors, data collection and cloud analysis. We are able to integrate smart devices into plants to monitor energy consumption, machine performance and operational conditions in real time, providing advanced reporting.

Energy efficiency

Our R&D team studies solutions to reduce consumption and environmental impact of plants. From installing inverters and energy recovery systems on electrical installations, to adopting industrial LED lighting and photovoltaic systems, we propose targeted interventions to improve energy efficiency. We carry out energy audits and retrofitting interventions with a sustainable approach, contributing both to cutting operational costs and reducing CO₂ emissions.

New materials and construction techniques

In the construction field, we explore the use of innovative materials (e.g., high-performance concretes, steel structures with advanced anti-corrosion treatments) and adoption of methodologies such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) to optimize the integrated design between architecture, structures and systems. This allows us to reduce errors on site and improve final construction quality.

The heart of Italimpianti is represented by the people who every day contribute to the success of projects. Our workforce includes over 150 professionals including engineers, specialized technicians, project managers and qualified workers. We work in multidisciplinary teams, where different skills are integrated to cover all aspects of the work: from electrical and mechanical design, to construction site management, up to final system testing.
