ABSTRACT

Italimpianti designed and manufactured a set of cooled components intended for the dust bag section of an industrial extraction and filtration system. The scope covered detailed structural engineering, steel fabrication with certified welding procedures, anti-corrosion surface treatments, testing, and logistics using a multi-axle low-bed transport vehicle. The components were supplied pre-assembled to minimize installation time and maximize the reliability of the filtration process.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

·       Detailed engineering and workshop drawings

·       Fabrication of frames and flanged inlets with integrated cooling coils/adjustment devices

·       Surface treatment (shot blasting + protective coating system)

·       Quality controls (dimensional checks, weld visual testing, leak testing where required)

·       Packaging, marking, documentation, and dedicated transport to site

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

·       Survey of constraints and “as-built” 3D modeling for plug & play integration

·       Cutting, bending, welding, and assembly of steel structures and cooling coils

·       Shot blasting and painting according to specifications; material traceability and WPS compliance

·       Testing activities and preparation of installation manuals and labels

·       Planning of lifting and securing operations in accordance with EN 12195; transport on low-bed trailer
