ABSTRACT

Italimpianti completed the construction of an elevated lightweight reinforced concrete slab for a new multi-storey structure in a mountainous setting. The scope of work included the structural engineering of the slab, installation of reinforcement and lightweight formwork, organization of concrete casting at height using a concrete pump, and comprehensive on-site safety management. The adopted solution reduces permanent structural loads while ensuring high structural performance and efficient execution timelines.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

·       Structural engineering of the slab and preparation of installation drawings

·       Supply and installation of EPS lightweight formwork and reinforcement mesh

·       Perimeter formwork, guardrails, and collective protection systems

·       Organization of elevated concrete casting using a truck-mounted concrete pump

·       Quality controls on steel and concrete, including site documentation

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

·       Survey of levels, structural constraints, and definition of casting phases

·       Installation of bottom and top reinforcement, spacers, and MEP provisions

·       Installation of lightweight blocks and perimeter formwork

·       Coordination and management of concrete casting using a pump, including vibration and finishing

·       Dimensional checks, in-progress inspections, and issuance of photographic and technical reports
