Abstract

Italimpianti designed and manufactured a set of cooled components intended for the dust bag section of an industrial extraction and filtration system. The scope covered detailed structural engineering, steel fabrication with certified welding procedures, anti-corrosion surface treatments, testing, and logistics using a multi-axle low-bed transport vehicle. The components were supplied pre-assembled to minimize installation time and maximize the reliability of the filtration process.

Scope of Supply

Detailed engineering and workshop drawings

Fabrication of frames and flanged inlets with integrated cooling coils/adjustment devices

Surface treatment (shot blasting + protective coating system)

Quality controls (dimensional checks, weld visual testing, leak testing where required)

Packaging, marking, documentation, and dedicated transport to site

Activities Performed

Survey of constraints and “as-built” 3D modeling for plug & play integration

Cutting, bending, welding, and assembly of steel structures and cooling coils

Shot blasting and painting according to specifications; material traceability and WPS compliance

Testing activities and preparation of installation manuals and labels

Planning of lifting and securing operations in accordance with EN 12195; transport on low-bed trailer
